amd is a RYZEN desktop processor

AMD may have started teasing its long-awaited next generation Ryzen desktop processor australia family a while ago, but as we approach the company’s official shipping launch of the product, mainstream web media publications and user discussion threads have been buzzing with the almost deafening clear-channel sounds of excitement, rumor, chatter and information leaks. In fact, in all my years of coverage and analysis of the computing and semiconductor industries, this has to be one of the most highly anticipated product launches I have been witness to or a part of – and for good reason.
Like it or not, Intel’s dominance in desktop and notebook processors and platforms has been so lopsided and prominent for so long that the market has been quite literally thirsting for a stronger alternative for over a decade now, pretty much since the Intel’s Core 2 architecture hit in 2006. That’s what you call an “eternity” in technology years. AMD’s Ryzen architecture is widely expected to return the company to much more equal footing versus Intel in all major areas of computing, from the data center, to the desktop and notebooks, so it’s no wonder the Internet is hyped-out on overdrive with the official launch that is rumored to hit on the 28th of this month.
